OUR STORY
DAGA World was born from two lifelong loves: dance and yoga.
DA comes from the first two letters of dance—symbolizing freedom of expression, rhythm, and joy in movement.
GA comes from the last two letters of yoga—representing grounding, presence, and the mindful connection between body, breath, and spirit.
On 2/22/2022, a date chosen with deep intention and alignment, these two practices were united to form DAGA World. What began as a personal devotion evolved into a shared space where movement, music, and mindfulness come together as one living experience.
Since its founding, DAGA World has grown into a global community, bringing people together through immersive gatherings and events in Hawai‘i, Guatemala, and Los Angeles. Rooted in embodiment and nourished by connection, DAGA World continues to create spaces where hearts open, bodies move with freedom, and community is felt—across cultures, borders, and rhythms.

FOUNDER/VISIONARY ARCHITECT
Smile Garcia is the Founder and Visionary Architect of DAGA World, guided by a lifelong devotion to movement, rhythm, and embodied presence. Dancing since childhood and later expanding into yoga, her path blends expressive freedom with mindful awareness.
Through creative practice and community building, Smile weaves intention into experiences that invite people to move, feel, and connect. She shapes the heart and creative framework of DAGA World while allowing each experience to unfold organically—rooted in the belief that movement is a bridge to healing and community.
SOUND BATH HEALER/EXPERIENTIAL EVENT PRODUCER
Ari Gabrielle brings depth, intention, and resonance to every DAGA World experience. As a Sound Healer and Experiential Event Producer, she curates immersive environments, discovers transformative venues, and connects with artists who elevate each gathering. Ari’s intuitive touch ensures that every participant feels held, inspired, and fully present in the magic of the moment.
WELLNESS & CARE COORDINATOR
Xiomara Carranza supports DAGA World as a Wellness & Care Coordinator, offering her time and care to help create a grounded, supportive environment during our experiences. Her presence and willingness to serve the mission contribute to the flow and wellbeing of our community as we bring the vision into reality together.
